Fiber Artist and Master Rug Hooker

 

Fiber is a wonderful medium, wool; cotton, yarns, linen, silk - I love to work with it all experimenting in various ways which is how I invented my driftwood art.

 

I have been a teacher of rug hooking since 2001 teaching beginner through advanced students.  My specialties are faces, animals, landscapes and contemporary works.  We need to keep this wonderful art alive!

 

The beaches and woods of our area inspire me as I gather stones, sticks, driftwood, shells, leaves and even garbage to incorporate in my works.  I hope you enjoy my fiber art and eco dyeing as much as I enjoy creating it.
